The TP18SX Tempest Box Extractor is a lightweight and easy to transport machine. Constructed of rugged polyethylene, the upper and lower tanks detach into two separate units for easier transport.

TP18SX is a particularly silent carpet extractor (only 60 dBa) with an excellent vacuum power, thanks to its three stage high-waterlift vacuum motor.  Its high-waterlift vacuum system allows to recover the maximum quantity of dirt from carpet and to get a shortest drying time. Thanks to its quite running, this machine is recommended to clean hotels, offices, banks, and any other noise-sensitive area. Dedicated brackets allow to hang hoses and wand on the machine, to easily move the complete machine from site to site. Hot water unit, HT1800, INCLUDED. If equipped with the patented SMARTKIT system, it is possible to perform automatic chemical dosing, carpet pre-spraying and rinsing.

The TP 18SX is a premium extractor featuring a 130 PSI diaphragm pump with 1.2 gpm or water flow. The 18-gallon polyethylene tanks are designed to clean large areas and it comes complete with a 20-foot solution/vacuum hose.

INCLUDES WATER HEATER

Conveniently mounts to the rear of the machine and comes with a hi-limit thermostat for safety. Water can be pre-heated followed up by in line heating. Temperature increase on in-line heating is directly proportional to the flow rate so a reduction in water flow will augment a greater increase in temperature.

INJECTION-EXTRACTION CLEANING

With the injection-extraction system, a solution of water and chemical is sprayed into the carpet's fibres and immediately sucked out. The solution and the dirt that is removed are recovered directly into the dirty water tank of the machine. With this method, it would usually take many passes on the same carpet area to complete the cleaning process.

OPTIONAL CARPET PRE- SPRAY SMART KIT 

A pre-spray of a concentrated chemical solution is usually recommended before starting cleaning. The extended contact time of the chemical assists the removal of dirt from the fibres, therefore achieving better cleaning results and reducing the time spent on the subsequent cleaning operations. 
Sometimes the pre-spray is done using manual or electrical pre-treatment devices, which are separate and extra machines. Nacecare has developed the SMARTKIT, a patented device that allows the pre-spray process to be done by the same machine used to clean.

During the pre-spray process, the sprayed solution is very concentrated. This provides the appropriate quantity of chemical, without overwetting the carpet.
Thanks to the machine pump’s high performance, the operator can pre-spray surfaces very fast. Because the operator can use the complete solution tank for the pre-spray, a greater area can be sprayed and time saved by not filling up separate portable pre-spray devices.

ADVANTAGES:

• One man can do the job of two while easily ensuring enough pre-spray is applied at all times. With other systems, you require a second man doing nothing but pre-spraying otherwise your machine is sitting dormant half the time while you either fill the sprayer or apply the spray

• 12 or 18 gallon solution tanks ensure ample pre-spray and cleaning solution is available.

• Unlike manual or electric sprayer systems, you are not re-filling every 5 minutes.

• Ensures a consistent and correct dilution at all times with constant flow and no pumping.

• More powerful than any other system which means you can apply pre-treat a lot more quickly.

• Can spray for 30 minutes (AV12QX) or 45 minutes (AV18, TP18) before re-filling.  An electric sprayer would need to be refilled every 5-7 minutes.
