Indicator lights signal when the bag is full, the brush height is correct or the brush chamber is clogged and for ease of use the stretch hose expands to four times its stored length. The electronic brush shut-off detects lodged debris in the brush roll chamber and automatically shuts down the brush motor protecting the belt, pulley, bearings and motor. The indicator light changes to red. Both units will not run without a bag.
At 66 dB(A) it exceeds industry standards for quiet vacuums reducing worker fatigue and disruption to building occupants. The four stage filtration system includes a top-fill bag, intake filter, and an exhaust filter. The optional HEPA filter provides 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns. The HD 18 meets the standards required by LEED-EBOM and CIMS-GB and are approved by The Carpet and Rug Institute.
